Let’s Unlock Rwanda Together! 🇷🇼

Discover the beauty, history and rich cultural heritage of Rwanda with 54 Countries: Rwanda, a beautifully illustrated educational children’s book for ages 5 to 11.

Designed to inspire curiosity, confidence and cultural pride, this book introduces young readers to Rwanda’s traditional dance and drumming, Imigongo art, the rolling hills known as the Land of a Thousand Hills, the country’s wildlife and conservation efforts, and the importance of remembrance and resilience in modern Rwandan history, while helping them discover the diversity of Africa’s 54 countries.

Perfect for parents, primary school teachers and homeschooling families looking to introduce children to African history, geography and culture in a fun, engaging and meaningful way.

Our mission is to raise a generation of children who know who they are, understand where they come from and recognise the incredible contributions Africa has made to the world.

Let’s unlock Rwanda together and bring its story to the next generation!

Important Pre-Order Information

This book is part of our community-powered 54 Countries Children’s Book Series.

To bring Rwanda into production, we need to reach a minimum of 100 pre-orders.

Once this milestone is reached, the book will be unlocked and move into production.

Production is expected to take a few months, with a target shipping date of 25 May 2027 (Africa Day). This is an estimated date and not a guaranteed delivery date.

By pre-ordering, you’re not just buying a book. You’re helping bring African stories into the hands of the next generation.

Bulk Orders (50+ Books)

For schools, educational institutions, organisations and community groups interested in ordering 50 or more copies, please email ODGCentre@gmail.com.

Why it matters

Our stories, told by us

For too long, other people have told our stories — and in the telling, made us feel inferior. It's time to reclaim the narrative and raise a generation of confident, informed young leaders.

What it is

A country, brought to life

A beautifully illustrated, joyfully written book dedicated entirely to Ghana — its history, culture and people — made to educate and inspire children and the families raising them.

How to join

Be part of the movement

Reserve your copy to help Ghana reach its printing goal, then join This Is New Africa as a member for early access to future countries, drops and events.

More than books.
It's a movement.

We're on a mission to reconnect children and families with African history, culture and identity. Together, we can build confident leaders and a brighter future.

Representation matters because children deserve to see themselves reflected in their history and culture. Education creates power, heritage builds pride, and together, we build generational leaders who carry these values forward.
